How beautiful are these pieces of Victorian transferware. This one dates back to the late 1800's and would have been used to hold Burgess's of London Anchovy Paste. This one is the rarer barrel shape design as opposed to the more commonly seen shallow pot. There are a few signs of wear as shown in the photos but we think this simply adds to the charm! A wonderful and highly collectible piece of antique advertising.
