These Frank Cooper marmalade pots date back to the first half of the 20th century and are such a beautiful example of antique British advertising - it's quite hard to believe these would have been thrown away after the contents were finished! The markings on this transfer in particular read 'By Appointment To The Late King George V' which places it between January 1936 and May 1937 when King Edward VIII was crowned for his short reign before his abdication. A beautiful piece of British history!
