This stunning wee piece is a railway dining carriage dish, dating back to the late 19th century. On the base is the marking for W. Adams & Sons England, a Staffordshire based pottery founded in 1779. The G.R initials on the front stand for the reigning George V of the time.
There is one small chip as shown, however this does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. We haven't come across another quite like it!
