We love these old cigar press moulds - we own a few ourselves and they make perfect tactile display props which we have styled alongside our wine cabinet! This one is branded with Otto Holzapfel No. 1709 Bünde 1/Westf. and also with No. 402 at the end. Tobacco would have been rolled up into cigar papers and placed into the individual moulds, before being pressed between the two wooden planks to seal them. A fantastic collectors piece or gift!
