These antique French infant feeders are fantastic historical items and medical collectibles. Known as a canard de malade in French which translates to sick duck, these intriguing pieces date back to the early 1800's and were designed to administer infants and invalids with fluids or soft foods. Nowadays we think these make wonderful curios for collectible displays!
There is one small chip to the inside lip as shown but it does not effect the overall beauty!
